• 5.0 out of 5 stars from Susan Fox -- Definitely a page turner : We purchased several copies knowing that it would be impossible for our family members to share just one knowing that we’ve all been anticipating this adventure! Let me say, it did not disappoint! A smooth introduction to the main character that quickly leads from one adventure to another. I won’t go into too much detail as you want to read this for yourself, but I will say that I found myself sneaking in a few pages every chance I could get. It was clear that “Iggy” is beginning to understand who’s on his team and so I’m interested to see how his path unfolds. The “all inclusive” characters is something that our society has needed to see on pages for some time now. I hope this is the “new norm” in literature as we all bleed the same but have our own layers that make us unique, which is something that should be embraced and celebrated. This was also the first book I’ve purchased with QR Codes and I just thought that was absolutely amazing. Definitely a way to connect with young readers who are technologically connected. Our son, who’s 13, breezed through this and loved it so much that he told his Language Arts teacher who then purchased a copy for herself. The paperback was great for a “beach read” but you’ll definitely want a hard copy for your bookcase. This one is a keeper and first editions will be hard to find. Every chapter is entertaining and the characters are relatable. I can’t wait to see what happens with the main character, Iggy. I have so many questions and predictions as to what will happen next! Taylor -- Great read! : I love this story as it reminds me a little of the Adventurers Wanted series, where a teen boy learns he has powers, skills, abilities he never knew of, and is raised by a relative other than his parents. He ends up in another world he never knew of and meets new people and creatures. I especially loved scanning on pages throughout the book to see photos of the creatures to better visualize them while reading! I can’t wait to read the next one😀. Enter Iggy, an anxious teenager determined to fade into the background of a new school. There is little time, however, for the reader to drift into this familiar setting before the author plunges the audience into a frightening fantasy world where Iggy must insert himself into situations that demand a fearless nature. The author effectively combines characters who personify many of The Seven Deadly Sins with others whose innocence seems almost too good to be true. There are enough plot twists and turns to want you to turn the page... The creatures are fun to imagine and the description of the fantasy lands make you want to visit along with Iggy.
